BIG SHIP ALLIANCE (Reggae band)
Information
· The Big Ship Alliance is a unique, authentic "reggae" band of eight experienced and professional musicians. Ebony and Asha were the co-founders of the band in 2019.
· We performed our first gig on January 4, 2020, at The Heartlands Banqueting Suite, Birmingham. We are of diverse ages and backgrounds, with a plethora of reggae experience.
· The Quality and experience of our musicians: The band consist of musicians who have toured worldwide with many Artists, including members of the band playing at the Sydney Opera House (Australia) with Pato Banton & The Reggae Revolution band. They also toured with Apache Indian, Ranking Roger & The Beat, Musical Youth, Sting, Peter Gabriel, Steel Pulse, The Marley Family, Morgan Heritage, Aswad, Maxi Priest, Shaggy.. and many more.

· Collaborations: We’ve teamed up and collaborated with other great bands and musicians such as the top UB40 Tribute band (Johnny2bad) and musicians like (Stones, Robbie Levi, and Reggae guitarist & vocalist Marley).. all from the reggae fraternity in the community to work on joint projects. These included producing a music video and releasing a cover version of "All In This Thing Together" (originally done by the O'Jays) and covered by the late Reggae Legend (Delroy Wilson), which had over 15k views on Facebook. These experiences add to the band's ability to create good reggae vibes for our audience and fans.
· We are an energetic band with 4 charismatic singers, playing music by the likes of:
· Bob Marley, Freddie McGregor, Sanchez, Toots & The Maytals, and Morgan Heritage. We’ll now be adding some new tracks to our set by artists like:
· Third World, Beres Hammond, Jimmy Cliff, Chronixx and more. We emanate a spirit of positivity, joy and well-being in our shows, which touches the audience, and have them singing and dancing from start to finish.
· We take pride in performing authentic reggae music. Besides, we work hard to ensure we give our best, thus creating that wow factor for our audience. We also perform original songs.
