The band cover songs from the 60s to the present time. MY GENERATION are a 'top draw' quality Covers Band that incorporate outstanding musicianship with fun, fun, fun !!!
The band name came about; you've guessed it; because each band member insisted their generation has the best songs. Only one solution, play songs from them all. They have what can only be described as a staggering versatility when it comes to the styles of music they play. Where else could you listen to a classic Dusty Springfield song one minute and next be blown away by a raunchy Amy Winehouse, Kings of Leon, Guns N' Roses or Tina Turner track!
The band's backing tracks typically consist of only Bass guitar and drums (which they recorded themselves). The two male members play all guitar parts live on all songs except when they play relevant Keyboard parts and Blues harp where required. Zoe sings lead on about 70% of songs and the remainder lead parts are sung by the lads. They also sing in three part harmonies where required.
