The Hillbillies have been around for more than 10 years and have been playing functions and private parties for the last 4 years. The band have some of the best musicians around including a top-ranking fiddle player/guitarist. We do country classics including Johnny Cash, Take me Home Country Roads, Rhinestone Cowboy, Hank Williams, etc.
Reliable professional performance of popular country-style songs by experienced musicians including guitar, fiddle, mandolin, bass and drums. Wide range of styles from bluegrass to country rock. Ideal for your BBQ party, hoedown or dance event - we have a caller for organised, ceilidh style barn dancing. We provide the full entertainment package with music from acoustic-style bluegrass (maybe for a reception event) to country favourites and organised barn dancing. We also provide recorded music through the p.a. system. We have Public Liability Insurance and our equipment is PAT tested
The Country band is generally a five-piece but they will reduce down to a duo (guitar and fiddle) if required. For their barn dance (Ceilidh) setup they add a caller.

The Hillbillies were just what we asked for. The band were on time and they set-up asap. After it stopped raining the band started right away. This was the kind of music that we wanted. It was not too loud and everyone enjoyed it. They certainly made the day, and were very well appreciated. The band even carried on playing when the rain came down again, and as soon as the sun came out. Everyone was back in the mood. We will certainly be booking them the next time. Great band and Woody was a gentleman. Just great.
