RADIO GRAND CAFÉ
From one of the most unique comedy speciality artistes of the past 25 years comes a new and exciting, visual comedy show . .
Radio Grand Café
Written and created by Edinburgh Fringe award winner Wayne Slater (El Loco), creator of comedy shows 'The Dentist Chair' and 'Beastro'.
Over 4,000 shows performed in more than 20 different countries throughout the world.
UK comedy act of the year 2007 for USA cruise line, Carnival.
The theme of the show is the forgetful waiter setting his bistro table for the arrival of his 'special guest' using the arts of comedy magic, mime and mayhem!
From the first course to the last, Radio Grand Café serves up a feast of free-range comedy that is right from the top of the menu! Along the way what can go wrong, will go wrong, and often does with hilarious reactions from the audience.
Add into the mixture a 'Grand Art-Deco Radio' that has more gadgets than a 007 movie! The radio delivers over 250 pieces of music and sound effects from around the world, giving you the perfect recipe, suitable for everyone's taste.
Laughter that is cooked to perfection!
COMBINE TWO PERFORMANCES IN ONE?
You can combine the cabaret of Radio Grand Café with El Loco's alter ego, the spoof comedy waiter, Funny Bones.
Funny Bones can mix and mingle with your guests on arrival. Then, when your guests are seated for dinner, Funny Bones will bring his comedy capers in between each course (complete course by course of comedy capers on request).
Funny Bones helps to create a mood of joviality; he is courteous, endearing and never oversteps the mark. His true comic timing leaves your guests with the thought "is he or is he not part of the waiting team?".
After dinner is complete, Funny Bones transforms into his main stage character, El Loco. He is then introduced to the stage to perform his 40-minute live comedy show . . .
