Sugar and Spice Dance Music - Strict tempo is their speciality. They play and sing music for Ballroom Dancing, Latin Dances and Sequence Dancing. The sound of a dance band on stage for the price of a duo.
Sugar & Spice are based in Oxfordshire. They have a wide experience in the music world. Both have been entertaining for over 40 years. It was through their love of Dancing, which led them to specialise in Ballroom, Latin American, and Popular Sequence.
They are competent Dancers who have taken many exams and continue to do so. They think there is nothing better, than to hear a beautiful tune played in strict tempo to enjoy your favourite dance. They also get a great deal of pleasure being in prime position playing and watching a sea of dancers.
Sugar and Spice are self-contained musicians, playing keyboards and guitars, both also vocalists who make melodious harmonies. They arrive with their own lighting to set the scene. They also have a vast collection of recorded dance music to suit all tastes. Their blend of live and recorded music has been a great success, particularly on Dance Holidays.

They also come fully equipped with a vast amount of recorded dance music and so can offer full DJ music service as required. This enables them to keep the dancing going during breaks or to give them the flexibility to join you on the dance floor, the music continues, throughout the event. Their blend of live and recorded music has been a great success, particularly on Dance Holidays.
They are very happy to come down with you and lead the dances, show you popular sequence dances, lead the line dances. If you wish, they can also do a selection of party dances for those who like to take part, not all people like to join in and they are fully aware of this. They will do everything to make your event go well.
Their background is of entertaining as a band, Cabaret artists, Dance holiday hosts, Balls and more recently working alongside some of the Strictly Dancers, makes them well-practiced musicians.
They have entertained at many Anniversaries and party events, themed evenings.
They have, and do work for organisations such as the Freemasons, especially the Ballroom Section, corporate functions and the armed forces. They travelled with the army entertaining abroad.
Joe Loss was also someone they both worked alongside and admired, also playing venues for his agency, such as Woburn Abbey and Sandhurst Military Academy.

They have a close friendship with many Dance Schools and Dance Sections, playing for their Dances or Balls.They are experienced in working with Professional Demonstrations, assisting and supporting Dancers with their music, assuring a good sound system and Professional Presentation.
They are a Professional and responsible band. All equipment is PAT tested annually (in excess of the legal requirements), and current Public Liability Insurance.
Their vast experience of entertaining and providing music for many years, has enabled them to read what an audience requires, and produce it to make the evening swing along from beginning to end.
