GITA - Solo violinist
Information
Gita is a solo violinist and graduate of The Royal Academy of Music, London.
Performing on tour with various artists, DJ's and bands such as Mark Ronson, Rihanna, Suede, Primal Scream, ELO, Elbow, Beyoncé, and Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Gita can often be found in recording studios, notably recording solo violin on the number one track 'Dry Your Eyes' by The Streets.
Amongst other world stages, Gita has performed at The Royal Albert Hall and regularly hits the stage with headline acts such as ELO, Elbow, Sophie Ellis Bextor and Kasabian on the Pyramid stage at Glastonbury festival.
Blending her classical training and rock and roll leanings, Gita uses a number of electric guitar pedals with her violin to create a unique sound which she performs over tracks which range from disco to pop to cinematic beats, cafe del mar and Ibiza classic hits.
Clients previously worked for include De Beers, Asprey, Formula One, Goodwood, Penhaligon and Porsche.
