Simon, a highly acclaimed singer songwriter, has a credible track record and is well respected in his own right as a CCM recording artist here in the UK. Since his career began in 1996, he has released six solo albums, as well as being in high demand as a studio session singer. To date, Simon has provided lead and backing vocals on well in excess of three hundred albums. Simon has also performed his own songs "live" here in the UK, Europe and Nashville, as well as being invited to perform on the BBC and ITV television networks. As a crafted and skilled songwriter, Simon has had many of his songs covered by other artists and has been featured on other albums here in the UK and USA. Cliff Richard says of Simon's previous solo album, "Where Have the Years Gone" (2006): "A great vocal and song writing talent".
People have concluded from Simon's own solo recordings and live concerts, just how much he sounds like Cliff. Funny thing for Simon is, it's not something that he's particularly ever really tried to be - it just happens that the natural sound of his voice has the Cliff likeness.
