Information
The Bluebird Belles are a versatile trio, specialising in retro sounds from the 1940s, 50s and 60s, and offering a huge range of styles including music hall singalongs, wartime classics, rock & roll, soul & Motown, and songs from the present day performed in an authentic vintage style.
Inspired by original female trios The Boswell Sisters & The Andrews Sisters, and influenced by later girl groups The Chordettes and The Supremes, the girls each have their own unique vocal qualities that effortlessly blend together to create beautiful, slick vocal harmonies to delight every ear!
Always dressed to impress, the Belles are known for their authentic and original WW2 WAAF, ATS and WRNS uniforms, as well as their huge collection of beautiful vintage dresses.
The Belles cater to every type of event, performing themed shows including 'Sing As We Go' (1940s, Wartime & Singalong) and 'Shake, Rattle & Roll' (1950s & 60s rock & roll) or a selection of popular vintage music from across the decades! The Belles are also available with three or five-piece swing band 'The Bugles'.
Every story needs a beginning, and this one began in 2015 when three belles from the Midlands, united by a love of vintage and vocal harmony, decided to share their musical talents with the world - and the trio was born! Affectionately named 'The Midlands' Sweethearts', this fabulous retro girl group will dazzle you with bundles of charm from a bygone age!
The Belles perform nationwide, and have sung at some of the largest 1940s and vintage events in the country. They are available for all types of event including weddings, birthdays, afternoon teas, anniversaries, wartime weekends, corporate events, hotel & restaurant entertainment, vintage fairs, themed events - we could go on and on and on....
