Our line-up is lead female singer, sax and vocals, guitars and vocals, drums & keyboard. We've recently been helping landlords fill their venue by playing a mix of fast paced, mainly 70s and 80s driven dance songs, that people really like to hear. We can complement your marketing with advertising to our growing number of supporters across Wiltshire and Glos to help make your evening a roaring success.
Traci (Lead Vocals) has been performing on stage and in bands since the age of 11. In her early professional career she regularly did cabaret on Cunard Ships, Summer Seasons, pantomime etc and for the last 30 years has sung with various local bands also cabaret supporting acts like Joe Pasquale, Frank Carson.
Pete (Saxophone and Vocals) has played professionally for many years and started his professional career in bands such as Farm whose line-up included bassist Nigel Harrison, of Blondie fame, and drummer Paul Hammond, who later joined Atomic Rooster. Pete has played for artists such as Dire Straits, Jools Holland Rhythm and Blues Band and Van Morrison before slowing down to join more local semi-professional local bands.
Andy (Lead Guitar and Vocals) started his musical journey playing drums at the age of 9 and moved onto guitar during his teenage years. He's played in many bands over the years ranging from Country and Western to indie Rock but most of his time has been spent in Party bands across the South of England.
Mark (Bass Guitar) has played in local and Bristol bands for nearly 40 years. He now plays with Simplicity and in a show band in France Mike (Drums) has played in bands from his early teenage years and featured in many of the west countries top party bands over the last 40 years. He's played with people and groups such as Justin Haywood, The Moody Blues, The Commitments and Judge Lander for major functions eg Coca Cola, Virgin.
Paul (Keyboards) has played keyboards since a young age and comes from a family of local musicians so like all of us in Simplicity - music and performing is in his blood
Overall, we all just enjoy getting on stage and entertaining an audience to give them a great evening out.
